Kid's Sewing Classes
Would your child enjoy learning to sew?
Group classes are beginning continuously in Aurora for boys and girls aged 8-14.
Next class:
Kid's Intro to Hand Sewing
Each child will select and sew by hand a stuffed animal, from a selection of dozens of patterns. Students will learn how to read a pattern, cut fabric, pin pattern pieces, use hand sewing techniques to assemble their animal, attatch notions like button eyes, turn and stuff, and stitch openings closed.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced projects are available. Each class is 60 minutes, and the course requires five weeks to complete.
Location: Aurora Community Centre
Date: Fridays at 4:00pm, beginning September 17, 2010
Cost: $65 per child, all materials and workbook included
